Two officers shot in Hermann
The Missouri Highway Patrol issued a blue alert after the accident in Herman, Missouri.
MSHP recognized a white male driving a black 2021 Jeep Wrangler with license plate RF5A0P as a suspect.
MSHP didn’t say what brought about the blue alert. A blue alert has been issued for the previous hour in Hermann, Missouri. Kenneth Lee Simpson, 35, is believed to have shot and killed the 2 officers and fled the scene. It was not instantly clear whether or not he was on foot or in a jeep.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the shooting occurred at a Casey’s restaurant in Hermann.
Look for a white male driving a black 2014 Jeep Wrangler with license plate RF5A0P. He is suspected of killing or significantly injuring an officer and is taken into account harmful.
