Paul Murdaugh snapchat cell phone video leaked on twitter, Alex Murdaugh Had No Blood

When the first sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene of a gruesome double homicide in South Carolina, Alex Murdo, who murdered his wife and son, immediately said he knew the killer’s motive. “It’s a long story,” Mr. Murdo, then a prominent South Carolina attorney, told his deputy, who had just disembarked from the cruiser to examine the bloody crime scene. “My son was wrecked on a boat a few months ago; most of it was harmless material that we didn’t take seriously,” he continued, adding, “I know it is. “
Mr Murdaugh, whose first confrontation with police was made public for the first time in court on Thursday, is now on trial accused of murdering his wife Maggie and his youngest of two adult sons, Paul, in June 2021. Prosecutors played police camera footage from the crime scene and suggested in court that Mr Murdo had tried to keep investigators off his trail as he explained the crime. He also mentioned the boating accident in an earlier 911 call before the sheriff’s deputies arrived.
Mr Murdaugh’s son was charged at the time of his death with driving a boat while drunk and crashing it onto a bridge after a night of partying in 2019, killing a passenger.
Mr Murdaugh insisted he did not kill his wife and son, and his lawyers claimed the assumptions he made were reasonable. They accused police of focusing on Mr Murdaugh instead of investigating some other possibility. Representatives from the Colton County Sheriff’s Office, who testified Thursday, were pressed by the defense whether they may have contaminated the crime scene when they arrived that night and destroyed evidence that might have cleared Mr. Murdo or even helped him capture the perpetrators.
